Our Mission
Alamo City Racquetball Association (ACRA) is a nonprofit organization, founded by San Antonio players, dedicated to the growth of the racquetball community within our city. It is committed to hosting quality, sanctioned tournaments and local events, as well as fostering programs geared towards our junior, high school and college players. ACRA also provides a means of communicating local needs to both state and national level racquetball organizations. ACRA hopes to provide an organized way for players to volunteer their time and contribute their ideas in order to successfully meet its goals.
It is our mission to foster youth racquetball programs to build a stronger and healthier community through the sport of racquetball.
Currently ACRA is working to build its juniors programs further throughout the city and continue to offer free clinics to kids and offering scholarships to kids of all ages and skillsets including working with special needs students.
ACRA fundraising tournaments provide an opportunity for youth to compete and meet professional players in a professional environment further encouraging their growth.

Battle at the Alamo (BATA) is one of the biggest fundraisers that Alamo City Racquetball Association hosts. BATA is a 3 day event starting Friday thru Sunday to raise funds for youth programs throughout the year and is the biggest of our 4 fundraising tournaments. The professional organizations LPRT at Tier 1 and the IRT at Tier 4 will be battling for winners in each of the organizations. 280 players for the event come from all over the U.S. and Mexico and the event is live streamed and highly promoted online and through social Media.
Event is located at the YMCA on Henderson Pass 16101 Henderson Pass, San Antonio, Texas 78232.
